The Last Hurrah.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

The short version

You’re trusting us with genuinely sensitive things — wills, medical wishes, letters to your family. We treat that seriously: your data is yours, it’s visible only to you and the people you explicitly grant access, we don’t sell it or use it for advertising, and you can delete all of it, permanently, at any time.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address (used for sign-in links).
  • Plan data: what you enter — service preferences, party plans, playlist, readings, and similar.
  • Files: documents you put in the Vault and photos/videos you or your invited guests upload.
  • Letters: sealed letters you write, stored until their unlock conditions are met.
  • Guest contributions: names, memories, photos, videos, and RSVP answers submitted by people you invite.

We don’t collect analytics profiles, we don’t track you across other sites, and we don’t use advertising SDKs.

Where it lives and who can see it

Data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL and file storage, hosted in the United States) behind row-level security: each record is readable only by its owner, plus any Trusted Peopleyou deliberately grant view-only access. Vault documents are in a private bucket accessed via short-lived signed links. Photos on memorial pages become publicly visible only after your trusted person declares the memorial — that’s the point of them.

What we share

Nothing, except: (1) with people you invited or trusted, exactly as the feature describes; (2) with service providers that run the app (Vercel for hosting, Supabase for storage, Spotify for song search queries you type, Resend for emails we send on your behalf); (3) if the law compels us. We never sell personal data.

Deletion

Account → “Delete my account” erases everything immediately and permanently: plan, files, letters, invites, and guest contributions. Guests can ask you (or us at the address below) to remove a contribution they made.

Children

The Last Hurrah is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
